Quiver will accept both official trailers and trailer clips. If selecting "Quiver to Create" for a required trailer asset, Quiver will cut a clip from the feature file. Quiver prefers official trailers over teaser trailers and trailer clips, if available.
For official trailers, follow the below rules to ensure that the trailer is acceptable for delivery to any retailer.
- There are no length requirements for official trailers, however, it's best if the trailer is between 30s and 5m long.
- Trailers must be green band. No excessive violence, nudity, profanity, or drug use.
- Trailers cannot include release dates, ratings, FBI or MPAA notices, or promotional materials.
- The trailer's audio language must match the original spoken language of the feature file delivered to Quiver.
- All images/scenes in the trailer must be included in the feature file delivered to Quiver.
For trailer clips, follow the below rules to ensure that the trailer is acceptable for delivery to any retailer.
- Clips must be between 30s and 5m long.
- Clips must be green band. No excessive violence, nudity, profanity, or drug use.
- Clips cannot include release dates, ratings, FBI or MPAA notices, or promotional materials.
- Clips must be one continuous section of the feature.
- The trailer's audio language must match the original spoken locale of the feature file it will be delivered to Quiver.
- All images/scenes in the trailer must be included in the feature file delivered to Quiver.
