1. Title Metadata

Quiver provides a step-by-step module to guide users through title metadata entry.

Please Note: This module is not available for orders that only include pitches for Curated Retailers. For more information about the pitch metadata workflow, click here.

The module is broken down into 4 easy-to-navigate sections:

Sales and Rental Dates

Enter all sales (EST) and rental (VOD) date information requested. This information will apply to all territories included in the order.

By default, Quiver selects the following date options:

  • Sales Pre-Order Date = Do Not Offer Pre-Order
  • Sales End Date = No Sales End Date
  • VOD (Rental) End Date = No VOD End Date
  • Amazon Prime Start Date = Do not offer on Amazon Prime
  • Netflix Preferred Start Date = No Netflix Preferred Start Date

Please Note: The fields displayed in this section reflect each order's requirements. Not all fields will display for all orders.

Each field provides several options for selecting or entering a date:

  1. Manually enter a date in the open text field provided (in MM/DD/YYYY format).
  2. Select a date from the calendar widget next to each field.
  3. Select not to include a date

When finished, click .

A summary window will appear verifying the section's completion.

After completing Sales and Rental Dates, users are given two options:

  1. Continue on to the Pricing section.
  2. Customize sales and rental dates by territory.

Please Note: It will also be possible to update sales and rental dates after completing the title metadata module.

If a user clicks , the page will refresh to the Prices section of the title metadata module.

If a user chooses to customize sales and rental dates, a multi-select field will appear listing all territories included in the order.

To not localize the sales and rental information for a territory, click the x next to that territory’s name.

To only customize a handful of territories, click  to remove all territories from the list. Then, click inside the field and either type in a territory name or select it from the drop-down menu provided.

When finished, click .

After the module refreshes, enter the sales and rental date information for the selected territories. This information will ONLY affect the territories selected previously and NOT all other territories in the order.

 When finished, click .

A summary window will appear verifying the section's completion.

Pricing

Select a currency from the drop-down menu provided.

Please Note: Choose the currency with which you are most comfortable. The platform will automatically convert the selected prices into all other currencies required by the different territories in the order.

By default, the platform auto-selects a suggested HD and SD Retail Price, as well as Release Type. To change any of these values, select a new value from the drop-down menus provided.

Ratings

There are two types of rating requirements for territories:

  • Required - Denoted by a , these territories require an official rating from the territory's ratings board. A user must select a rating from the field's drop-down menu in order to continue.
  • Optional - Most territories allow non-rated content to be sold on their storefronts. By default, Quiver auto-selects Not Rated for these territories. To add an official rating for any of these territories, select a rating from the drop-down menu.

Some territories require a rating reason. These fields are denoted by a *.

If a title is appropriate for all ages, select the option closest to "No Offensive Material". If content is not appropriate for all ages, select the rating reason(s) provided by the territory's ratings board, or select the rating reason(s) that best match your title's content.

Remaining Fields

All remaining title metadata fields that do not fit into the previous 3 sections will appear in the Remaining Fields section of the title metadata module.

After completing the title metadata module, it is possible to update all title metadata fields before continuing.

Curated Retailer Pitches Only Metadata Workflow

Orders that only include pitches for Curated Retailers have at most 11 required metadata fields. All fields are located in Required Fields -> Common Fields and are denoted by a *.

By default, Quiver has selected the following sales dates for Curated Retailers:

  • EST Start Date - 60 days after today's date
  • VOD (Rental) Start Date - 60 days after today's date
  • VOD (Rental) End Date - None
  • Netflix Preferred Start Date - None

All date fields can be edited in Required Fields -> Territory Specific Fields.

When finished editing title metadata, click  at the bottom of the page.
