Language-specific metadata needs to be included for all multi-language orders. If delivering only one language, this tab will not appear in the Metadata section of the order placement process.
Please Note: At the top of the page is a counter that displays how many empty required fields still need attention. The counter does not take into account optional fields.
There are two types of language metadata: Required and Optional.
Required fields are required by the retailers selected in Creating an Order: Step 2. An order cannot be submitted until all required fields are filled-in.
Optional fields are optional. These fields aren’t required by the retailers but are great to include, creating the best customer experience possible.
To display the metadata fields for a language, click the arrow next to the language. The platform defaults to displaying the Required Fields section of the first language listed.
Required Fields:
Certain territories require a localized title, long synopsis, and/or cast/crew. If the order doesn't include any territories with localization requirements, there will not be any required fields to fill out.
Hover over the icon next to any field to display a window with definitions, explanations, or suggested actions (Protips).
After a field has been filled in, a will appear next to that field and the required * asterisk next to the field will disappear.

Optional Fields:
The optional fields for all languages include a localized title, long synopsis, and cast/crew (if not required by the territory).
All of these fields are optional and are not required by the retailers selected in Creating an Order: Step 2. However, including these optional fields will create the best customer experience for buyers.
Hover over the icon next to any field to display a window with definitions, explanations, or suggested actions (Protips).
